Medievalists @ Penn (M@P) is a reading group run by graduate students at the University of Pennsylvania. The group is comprised of members from departments across the School of Arts and Sciences. Our purpose is to foster discussion and interaction among students and scholars of all aspects of the Middle Ages and to provide mutual support for the development of a broad interdisciplinary understanding of medieval culture.

Workshop with Ann Marie Rasmussen
Ann Marie Rasmussen (Duke University), this year's conference keynote speaker, will be offering a workshop for graduate students on Tuesday, April 5, at 5:00 in Houston Hall Class of '47 Room (third floor). Her topic will be "Philology and Feminism: Translating Medieval German Texts about Prostitution," and we will be reading selections from Ladies, Whores, and Holy Women: A Sourcebook in Courtly, Religious, and Urban Cultures of Late Medieval Germany, with Introductory Essays, eds. and trans. by Ann Marie Rasmussen and Sarah Westphal-Wihl.
